GC4 is looking for a warm and dedicated Assistant Teacher to become a vital part of our team! If you love working with young children and are committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where they can flourish, we want to hear from you.

As an Assistant Teacher here at GC4,  you'll collaborate closely with our lead teachers to bring engaging lessons to life, provide compassionate care, and ensure every child feels safe and valued. We pride ourselves on our supportive team culture and our commitment to fostering a positive experience for both our staff and the children in our care.

We offer competitive pay and a standard schedule of 35 - 40 hours per week, with no late nights, weekends, or holidays. Full-time employees are also eligible for vacation pay. Come grow with us as we continue to expand our impact on families in our community!

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the lead teacher in daily classroom operations and activity implementation.

- Supervise children during various activities, always prioritizing their safety and well-being.

- Engage with children individually and in groups to encourage learning and development.

- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space.

- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.

- Help manage classroom behavior using positive guidance strategies.

- Actively participate in staff training and team meetings.

Requirements:

- Prior experience working with children in a group setting (e.g., daycare, preschool, camp). Preferred.

- Familiarity with age-appropriate activities and child development milestones.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- A compassionate, patient, and energetic demeanor.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

- Successful completion of a background check is required.
